Chess

In the Michaelmas term, I have chosen chess as one my CAS activity. The activity took place every Friday in the school's library. During the activities, I am able to hone my chess skills in aspects such as pressure control by playing bullet chess and learning tactical motifs by playing a variety of chess variants. The highlight of the activity is a tournament that took place in a local university. In the tournament, I took part in the adult section and ended up with third place.

With the last win, I finished the tournament with a score of 5.5/7. The tournament ended in a three-way tie for the first place. After the tiebreak is being applied, I ended up in the 3rd place.
Below are the photos taken at the chess tournament.
